2013 Hair Color Trends

2013 Hair Color Trends

2013 Hair Color Trends are very bold and nontraditional representing a magical mixture of contrasts. This year is not necessarily about cutting edge haircuts, but about multi tonal hair color combinations that will turn even the most boring and casual hairstyle into a real piece of art.

With the endless possibilities of color combinations that you can go for, I have found these examples of blonde and black. The reason why these colors can work together is because they always compete with each other and are bold and elegant. Blonde looks fairy and glamorous while black looks mysterious and sexy, so why not combine these features and become the owner of the most seductive image of 2013. With the creative techniques by your hair stylist, you can go for dip dyeing, paneling, chunky highlighting and many other creative designs to make your look unique and personalized for you.

It does not stop at just black and blonde. For brunettes highlights can open the door to an entire new look for you. You can add shades of red, blonde, black, and many other tones depending on what is suitable for your lifestyle. What I do see a lot of for my brunette friends are rich shiny browns contrasted with fiery reds with orange and pink undertones.

For my blondes, throw some lowlights into the mix for an instant makeover. If you are scared of change, opt for a semi-permanent color that will last you around 3 weeks. If you are feeling bolder add vibrant, rich pigmented colors or soft pastels to your main

ok, I want to color my hair in a light beigh or blond. How would you suggest I cut my hair. I really don’t want an old ladies cut. Right now it is shoulder length. It hasn’t been cut since last May…

Well I usually start off by asking my clients some general questions.
      1) What is your styling rountine like?
      2) do you want to keep your hair above or below your shoulders?

If I were younger (like 30 years younger) I would love to have some pink in my hair but being in the professional world I work in, it probably would not work, I am bummed.

You can always get some “clip in” extentions in pink, that way you can clip them in to add some fun to you hair or clip them out when work duties call!
